I would be willing to go out on a limb and assume there are more blades of grass in my neighborhood than there are people on the earth. Each, individual blade is unique in color and shape. We pass by them constantly, walking in the park and driving to where ever it is we need to go. But how many times do we stop and consider the genius required to create the first blade? The multitude of colors of green and the vastness of earth populated with grass untamed by the human form.
The earth spins a bit faster than 1,000 miles an hour on an invisible axis. And yet spins perfectly in orbit. There is something deeply mysterious and beautiful about that.
There is a passion in nature. It is undeniable. And it cannot be traced to the result of a combination of mathematical equations and pure chance. It is personality. And it is evident in every living thing.
And no matter how far into the universe we stare...we cannot find an answer for the personality that exists in nature, without accepting a personal creator.
Our God is personal. And he has scattered his breathe across the plains. And called it good.
And if he cares enough to show his personality in nature, how much more does he care to reveal himself to his children?
He sings a million songs over you.
You
by Lori Chaffer
You cause my heart to sing
You are always listening
You understand my dreams
You do
You cut away my lies
You see through my disguise
You are not so far away from me
As I thought You’d be
You love me as I am
Even when I cannot stand
You whisper in my ear
All the things I need to hear
From You
You are a mystery
You bring strong men to their knees
You change the hearts of kings
You do
You have names for all Your stars
You heal my wounds and kiss my scars
You sing a million songs over me
